Glam Events proudly organized the 1st wedding venues sightseeing in Crete. The event took place from the 8th to the 10th of April 2019. It was a great success, attracting 30 international wedding planners. Guests arrived from the USA, Russia, the UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, the UK, the Netherlands, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Italy.
Welcome Gala in Chania
The event began on Monday, April 8th, with a welcome gala at the Centre of Mediterranean Architecture in Chania’s Venetian Harbour. Mrs. Mihailaki, representing the Municipality of Chania, welcomed the participants. The planners then learned why so many couples choose Crete as their wedding destination. Afterwards, a reception followed with live saxophone and violin music.
Tours and Presentations
Over the next two days, attendees visited a variety of wedding venues in Crete. These included estates, farms, hotels, and seaside locations. On Tuesday evening, they also attended a two-hour presentation at the Avra Imperial Hotel. During this session, an additional 40 wedding venues were showcased.
