Glam Events at the IIWC Congress in Sri Lanka

Glam Events proudly joined the 2nd IIWC Congress in Sri Lanka, representing Greece in one of the most important international wedding events. The owner, Takis Zervoudakis, was invited for the second time by Millennium Events, the official organizer of the congress.

The IIWC Congress Sri Lanka gathered top wedding planners and event organizers from India and across the globe. Professionals came from the USA, England, Italy, Spain, Turkey, the Czech Republic, and Greece. The main theme of the three-day congress was destination weddings. Sessions focused on industry trends, client expectations, and creative approaches to wedding planning.

Key Highlights

Participants enjoyed:

  • Talks and panel discussions on planning weddings abroad.

  • B2B meetings that encouraged new business partnerships.

  • Practical sessions on wedding decoration, customer needs, and event problem-solving.

As a conclusion, experts noted the growing demand for Indian weddings abroad. Importantly, Greece is now seen as one of the most attractive destinations for couples. This recognition strengthens the country’s position in the global wedding market.

Networking and Experiences

Besides professional sessions, the congress offered dinners, gala evenings, and social events. These gatherings allowed participants to form both personal and business relationships.

During the closing ceremony, organizers expressed their wish to hold one of the next IIWC Congresses in Greece. This idea, if realized, would create new opportunities for the Greek wedding industry.

Conclusion

The IIWC Congress Sri Lanka was an inspiring experience for Glam Events. The participation strengthened international ties and promoted Greece as a leading destination for luxury weddings.
