Who We Are
The concept of “Glam Events” originated 17 years ago, during the early days of destination weddings in Greece. Since then, Greece, and especially Crete, has grown significantly as a popular wedding destination. Our company’s philosophy is to help couples organize and execute memorable events that they will proudly refer to others.

28 years ago, Takis ventured into the advertising and promotion business, along with organizing social events. After many successful projects, including live shows, concerts, and promotion parties, he heard a calling—it was time to dive into the wedding industry. The prospect of contributing to the most special day in a couple’s life was both exciting and fulfilling for him. Even after 17 years in the business, the thrill remains.
His extensive experience, innovative ideas, and strong relationships with local public institutions and tourism professionals in Crete ensure the perfect outcome and solutions to any challenges that may arise. Takis’s participation in numerous international forums and wedding planner congresses, such as DPW in Florence (2016), the National Wedding Show in Birmingham (2018) and London (2023), and the IIWC in India (2020) and Sri Lanka (2023), has deepened his understanding of the needs of couples from abroad and allowed him to collaborate with renowned organizers worldwide.
Restless and proactive, Takis continually seeks improvement in all aspects of his work. His kindness, caring nature, organizational skills, and innovative approach make him the number one wedding planner in Crete.

Gabriella is the “new blood” as Takis likes to call her. She is the person that give you emotions and makes your dreams come true. Born and raised in Chania but of English mothers, Gabriella is totally passionate with planning and decoration, she is studying architecture of interior design and she is totally an organized person. Gabriella will help you organize a tailor-made, personalized stress free, unforgettable and enjoyable wedding. Always with a smile on her face, as a friend she will turn your desires to reality. The only thing you have to do is enjoy the moment.

Nikolas is a valuable member of glam events. Hi’s studies in the UK helped him to enroll in the events industry firstly and afterwards to the wedding planning.
