The idea

‘’Glam events’’ is an events’ organisation company based in Chania, located on the North-Wes coast of the fabulous island of Crete.
The idea of ‘’Glam Events’’ began 15 years ago, in a time period which destination weddings were at its early stages in Greece. Since then, there has been a rapid increase in Greece and Crete more specifically, as a wedding destination.
The whole philosophy of our company is to assist couples in organising and implementing events worthy of referral. We are not very much into ready wedding packages due to the fact that sometimes it is very hard to depict our clients’ actual wishes. Thus, we prefer tailor-made events through which we are able to grasp and meet the demands and wishes of each of our client, ensuring an outstanding outcome.
After so many years in the field of corporal and social events, we can brag that our experience allows us to take on and fulfill literally any type of event no matter what! From the simplest minimalistic wedding to the most detailed and demanding ones.
Among others, one of our main goals is to be your ‘’distance friend’’ here, assuring that nothing will go wrong and guarantying your piece of mind throughout the process. A major advantage we have to offer as an events ‘organisation company is our locality; By being born and bred in this amazing island, we have managed to gain excellent relations with all the local authorities, a factor which gives us the ability to overcome any obstacle coming to our way, even issues which might not be directly related to the event itself.

28 years ago, Takis got involved in the advertising, promotion business & social events organization. After many successful projects as live shows, concerts, promotion parties, etc, a bell rung… It was time for him to engage in the wedding industry. The idea of being a part in the most special day of a couple’s life was very exciting and fulfilling for him. The thrill is still there after 15 years of being involved in this business. The multiannual experience, the innovative ideas and the personal relationships with the public institutions and the professionals of tourism in Crete as a local, guarantee the perfect outcome and solutions to any issue which may arise. Takis is restless and very active, always trying to improve in all aspects; also he is very kind and caring as well as organized and innovative. All the pre-mentioned elements of his personality are what makes him the No 1 wedding planner in Crete!

Nikolas is a valuable member of glam events. Hi’s studies in the UK helped him to enroll in the events industry firstly and afterwards to the wedding planning. His willingness, kindness and sociability have contributed into making him an essential multimode tool for Glam Events. Always with a smile, eager to involve and solve whichever problem may appear.

Gabriella is the ``new blood`` as Takis likes to call her. She is the person that give you emotions and makes your dreams come true. Born and raised in Chania, Gabriella is totally passionate with planning, she is studying architecture of interior design and she's totally an organised person. Gabriella will help you organise a tailor-made, personalized stress free, unforgettable and enjoyable wedding. Always with a smile on her face, as a friend she will turn your desires to reality.The only thing you have to do is enjoy the moment.
